Way to go Adam!

I like what you did to the site!  Those album covers sure bring back good memories.  "You Can Tune a Piano" from REO was/is one of my all-time faves.  Also The Knack... still love them. I just went to see them last year at DTE.  Good show.

Beaverton Varsity Baseball Champs

The Red Rave is hitting Beaverville AGAIN, but this time it's not basketball...it's baseball!  John Mischler is the coach. When the guy Beavers won Districts for the first time in Beaver History, we were in awe....then they won Regionals Saturday, and Tuesday 6/12 they play in Cadillac quarter-finals.  Three more wins and we'll be the Beaver State Champs.  Here's the District Champ link from the Gladwin County Record. http://www.gladwinmi.com/record/?sect_rank=3&section_id=2&story_id=47984 OH...and the Midland Daily and Bay City Times has been running frequent articles as well...no luck involved....our boys are GOOD!

The Joy of Knowing a Child

Someone I wish I would've met and you could've met too.  Never did meet her, but was able to hear of her illness from a family member. Thereafter, didn't hear much about her illness, but rather the: love, joy & laughter this girl brought to all her loved-ones, throughout her short time here on earth.
This was an illness I never heard of, so I inquired about it to anyone I knew (in the medical field).  Only one women knew of it (the RN-spouse of a co-worker).  She explained to me about it, "not something anyone would wish to brave", she implied.  You can learn more about the illness here: http://www.hugsforhaley.com/
I never seen anyone talk of her without a huge grin and love in their eyes.  I also sadly thought, "boy, are all these people going to be broken when she leaves"..  I was sad at first when I heard she died, but than I remembered she was a Christian and know she's spiritually alive & well in heaven.  So I do not grieve for Haley anymore, she enjoyed more happiness and love (by her choices) than most of us will if we live here to be 100+.  I'm sad for all her loved-ones!  I cannot imagine not having someone like Haley 'right by your side' (when you've become accustomed to such a treasure).  She's waiting for everyone in heaven.  Please pray 'for Haley's loved-ones'.  I'm writing this as I've been thinking a lot about her lately.  When I'm worried or sad (about something I don't realize is really insignificant), Haley miraculous pops into my mind and makes me smile.  Having never met her and she having such a positive impact on my life, makes me grieve for her loved-ones, for the loss they’ll endure, until they meet up with Haley in heaven.  I envy her loved-ones as well, for them getting to be so close to such an angelic-like child.  Maybe you’ve been fortunate enough to meet or know someone like Haley?
