YEE-HAW!!!
Watching the weather battle of New Olreans on the TV while nice 'n' comfortable in the hotel room. Believe it or not, it actually looks pretty good because Gustav hit land as a category 2 storm rather than 4, which some news outlets predicted yesterday (TAKE THAT, BIASED MEDIA!!! hee hee hee).
If the storm is like it's being reported on the news, we may be home before the end of the week. I just hope we don't see a report about how Algiers was spared the worst of the storm, except for one particular house on Kings Canyon Drive. I can just imagine my neighbor's car sticking out of the roof our house. Oh well, it would be karma for me driving my car through my neighbor's living room when we lived in Seattle...oof.
